I went to a fun workshop with friends, where we painted eggs using the old tradition of Ukrainian egg dying. Basically, thin lines of wax are applied to the eggshell, and then the egg is dipped in dye, adding a layer of color. More wax, and more dippings may follow, ending up with a colorful and potentially intricate design. The professional ones are absolutely stunning. Mine are ok, for my first attempt as an adult, and as an artist. I had gotten to try it back in 5th grade.
