Burning Man 2012: Videos: Lighthouse, El Pulpo Mecanico, Burn Wall Street

I've been clearing out old bulky video files from my phone.  Here are some from Burning Man 2012 that, unedited, still provide a feeling of the playa.

First: When one arrives on the playa, a few days before the official start of the event, the landscape is barren, and serene, a blank slate on which to create.

One of the CORE projects from that year, the lighthouse. The Circle Of Regional Effigies were wooden sculptures created by teams from different regions of the world, to be ritually burned.

Perennial favorite, for the last few years, El Pulpo Mecanico, the mechanical octopus:
